I will come clean – my last Louis Vuitton purchase was way back in 2009! It was the second time LV came out with a Stephen Sprouse limited edition pieces.
It’s a speedy 30 and I still LVoe until today! You know what, I should take it out for a spin one of these days. <3
I'm still lusting for a navy Sofia Coppola bag and I'm trying to figure out how to finance that(it's effin' crazy!) or decide to just go to Paris to buy one. LOLs! But during a recent visit to the store in GB4 I saw something that caught my fancy!
The grand old house continues its quest to offer their A-list clientele with elegant and unique bags via the made-to-order luxury of "Haute Maroquinerie".
Now until February 23rd, Louis Vuitton offers you the chance to have a bag that is truly YOURS. Offering tailor-made bags from some of the House's iconic designs such as the Lockit, Noe and Triangle to newer pieces the Neo-Steamer and Milaris.

My pinterest is filled with the following things:
1. Things I want to buy
2. Places I want to go to
3. Things I want to eat/cook
4. Cute Boys for my reference(the times I am on edge and need instant eye candy )
5. Clothes/Looks I want to copy
6. John F. Kennedy Jr and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy photos
The last item is a testament to my own enduring obsession, 14 years after their tragic death. I think I have written about my JFK Jr obsession on this blog countless of times(try at least three entries – here, here and here) – he is THE one for me.
I know I sound like a lunatic but I have to say that there is no one like JFK Jr for girls today! For my generation, John F. Kennedy Jr was the PEG. The guy you would think first when asked who’s your perfect partner. JFK Jr was so goodlooking, well bred, educated, hard working, elegant and down-to-earth! Both friend and parent-approved!
Yes, ask any of my friends, I am probably JFK Jr’s #1 fan in the Philippines. There is a joke that they expect me to date nothing less than a JFK Jr. type. HA! I guess the only one I think can compare to John is Anderson Cooper but..Andy is gay. (I know, the BAR is set VERY HIGH – no wonder)
And don’t get me started with Carolyn! Although she is not traditionally beautiful nor was she perfect but she was chic, amazing, timeless, stylish and allegedly crazy(oh how do we love crazy women like ourselves?!?!). And I love it that my favorite blog into the gloss agrees with me - CBK is the SHIZ!
You can never go wrong with an extremely beautiful man, it’s truly the best accessory but Carolyn was not shabby herself. Her taste is pitch-perfect. She favored neutrals and simple lines.
Having lived in NYC the same time as when they were dating/married, CBK was the epitome of the upwardly mobile and blessed New York woman. I remember I would take note of whatever she was wearing and buy the Gap/Banana republic/J Crew version of her outfit. And come on, just looking at the photos you wouldn’t think these were taken almost 20 years ago!
I also loved how simple her hairstyle was, just long and straight or in a pony tail. Her bleach blonde hair was a bitch to maintain (I’m sure) but this was a time when Park Avenue Princess-types all wanted to look like her – Tall, lithe and very blonde(I prefer tall, lithe and brunette :D).
Again, I am yearning for the time when we had girls like CBK to look up to! Here was a real(?) person, had a real job, wore real clothes and even had real problems(allegedly). Well, fine, at least in my head her life was real! It sounds a little crazy but hers was a life sort of reachable, tragic and mythic. I googled and she was around my current age when she died! O_o
For me, she is an enduring style icon. Just timeless. I wouldn’t mind looking like THAT.
A few months ago I noticed that birkenstocks – yes, those german sandals you used to wear with funny socks in the 90s – are making a comeback! I first noticed them on the runways of my fave label Celine.
They were furry and cute but were they wearable IRL? I really don’t know. And wait, how can Birkenstocks be cool again? In my head “I DON’T THINK SO”. Lo and behold, my personal style icons the Olsen twins started sporting them around the streets of NYC and LA.
You know, once MKA start wearing something you need to take notice.
I NEED TO GO TO THE BIRKENSTOCKS STORE STAT.
I also saw those Celine furkenstocks at the Barneys Warehouse sale – was THISCLOSE to getting them at 50% off but my sane and very sensible side won that day – just bought a few pairs of louboutins I can wear for work. Yes, I’m mature na.
I don’t like selfies and I haven’t done an outfit shot in ages. But here it goes:
Grey top – H&M
Boyfriend cut jeans – Joe’s Jeans
Sandals – Birkenstocks (And yup, bought exactly the same pair that Ashley Olsen has. :P)
I super love these sandals and honestly, when you get to my age, comfort over pain. Big plus when comfort meets style, though. HAHAHA!
(Yes, CVS, sumusunod ako sa uso! LOL))
I am completely enamored by Alex and Ani charmed arms bracelets every since I got my first two a few months back.
They were gifts from Celine and Kristel, and I felt these were so me. Obviously for the initial and of course, the special significance of NYC in my life.
A few weeks ago, I came across the crosswrap bracelet and became obsessed! I had texted the three point retail girls and although it was sold out, they were waiting for shipment. I luckily had a gold one reserved and after some time of patiently waiting and trying to schedule a trip to their SM Aura kiosk, I finally got it!
Love at first sight!! <3 <3 <3
And no visit to the Alex and Ani booth would be complete without getting a few extras. Because I have been on an intimate religious journey the past few years, the Mother Mary charm was a must-have while to balance things off, the astrological leo charm represents the fire sign queen that I am. I KNOW, ironic and maybe blasphemous but I have eccentric beliefs and I like the mix of both religious and pagan rituals.
Alex and Ani Charmed Arms bracelets are perfect “Arm swags” – you can pile them on like there’s no tomorrow. I am planning to buy a few more because they are quite cute and not to mention, somewhat of a cheap thrill. It also represents so much positive energy which is what I am all about nowadays. LOLs. (I know, if you follow my tweets, I am quite the Positive Patty )

Fresh from the California Coast (USA), Kameleonz © is the hottest new sunglass brand to hit the tropics.
Kameleonz is the brain child of motorcycle-riding, rock-climbing, beach-bumming and all around outdoor-loving brothers Sean and Justin Bingham. The bros recognized a lack of affordable, customizable and most importantly functional designs in the American eyewear market.
This resulted in revolutionary new sunglasses, the first with colorful interchangeable side arms, rubber soft-touch finish and full protection UV 400 lenses that launched just in time for the wet hot American summer of 2013.
