Wow! Time flies – it’s been a year since the inaugural Wanderland in 2013. Remember how I had wished that Phoenix would hold a concert here? Wish fulfilled by the same people behind this event. Amazing that these kids are all under 25!!

2014’s Wanderland Fest is on May 17th. Envisioned to be Manila’s premiere music and art’s festival, This year’s event is carnival-themed and is organized by the kids of Karpos Media, presented by River Island and Globe. The venue will be at the Globe Circuit Events grounds at the former Sta. Ana Race track.

Headlining Wanderland is the American indie pop band from New York, The Drums, composed of Jonny Pierce, Jacob Graham and Connor Hanwick , best known for their ‘80’s style surf rock’ music. Others in the line up include international and local musicians Paper Kites, Royal Concept, Architecture in Helsinky, Franco, Techy Romantics, just to name a few. There will also be a showcare of live art by Anjo Bolarda, JP Cuison and Dee Jae Pa’este.

Tickets are originally priced at Php 4800, but from April 27 – May 10, Eager Wanderer tickets priced at Php 3,800 will be available at all SM Tickets and Ticketnet outlets.

See you in Wanderland!

  1. If I am in Manila, I’m sure my husband and I will go to this event. The last one we went to was not a music fest though, but a show of the band Allah-las & another one called Tashaki Miyaki in Washington DC last November before Thanksgiving.

    I really like their poster.
